A Disneyworld Vacation in Orlando, Florida

Cinderella's Castle in Disneyworld

A Disneyworld vacation is ideal for those of us from the midwest to the east coast. We can enjoy this wonderful kid's land without having to make the trip to California.

In some ways, we find this to be even better than Disneyland. Not only do you get to enjoy the theme park rides; you also are in a hub of family vacation entertainment.

You'll find the well know rides such as It's a Small World and Pirates of the Caribbean. The pirates ride is definietely my favorite, but if you have small kids, it may be a little scary for them.

Main Street is lined with shops selling merchandise and food and has some influences from around the country. The parade on main street is a spectacle you will definitely enjoy.

There is Adventure Land, which resembles the jungles in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, South America and the South Pacific.

Frontier Land takes you back to the time of the cowboys and indians.

Liberty Square might be more for the adults and is based on an American Revolutionary town.

Tomorrow Land takes you into the future and I think is geared more towards the older kids and the adults.

Mickey's Toontown Fair will be a youngsters choice.

This Disneyworld vacation is well worth it and I suggest you have about a week to spend in the Orlando area, as there is much more to see.
